ENERVI DELIVERS ISO 50001 AWARENESS TRAINING FOR BRANCH OF VINATEX – NAM DINH SPINNING FACTORY

On August 15, 2026, at Branch of Vinatex – Nam Dinh Spinning factory, ENERVI Vietnam Environmental Energy Joint Stock Company co-organized an awareness training course on ISO 50001 – the Energy Management System standard. The course drew the participation of 23 officers and staff members of the factory and concluded with 100% of trainees successfully completing the end-of-course assessment.

As energy costs account for an increasingly large share of production expenses, textile spinning factorys — which consume significant amounts of electricity in their operations — are under growing pressure to use energy more efficiently. It is not only manufacturing enterprises; owners of commercial buildings and leased office spaces are also paying closer attention to controlling operating costs through systematic energy management, in line with increasingly stringent legal requirements on the economical and efficient use of energy.
ISO 50001 — the international standard for energy management systems — is the tool that helps enterprises build a systematic approach to monitoring, controlling, and improving energy efficiency. And the starting point for any such system is people — those who directly operate and use energy every day.

During the session, ENERVI's team of instructors introduced and explained in detail the provisions and requirements of the ISO 50001 standard, helping the officers and staff of Branch of Vinatex – Nam Dinh Spinning Factory gain a clear understanding of the standard's key content. Throughout the session, the 23 trainees took part with seriousness and openness, actively exchanging ideas and asking the instructors questions to clarify points directly related to the factory's actual operations.

At the end of the program, the organizers conducted an assessment test to ensure trainees had firmly grasped the content delivered. As a result, all 23 participating officers and staff members met the requirements and were awarded certificates of completion for the ISO 50001 awareness training course.

Though brief, an awareness training course serves as the first building block, laying a shared foundation of understanding for enterprises to move toward developing, implementing, and maintaining an ISO 50001 energy management system in a systematic and sustainably effective manner.
